Marc J. Reiter is a former officer and board member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association).

IMMIGRATION

Marc J. Reiter has several years of experience representing individuals and businesses in several types of immigration cases including family based cases (MARRIAGE, K-1 FIANCE, K-3, REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS), employment/profession based cases (LABOR CERTIFICATION, H-1B, MEDICAL DOCTORS), deportation/removal cases (including CRIMINAL BASED ), citizenship, and asylum cases. He has represented individual in Removal Proceedings in Immigration Courts in several cities including, but not limited to, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, York, Atlanta, Buffalo, El Paso, Harlingen, Columbus, and Orlando. He has also represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and in Federal Court.

Marc J. Reiter is the immediate past Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Pittsburgh Chapter, and has held officer positions in the American Immigration Lawyers Association Pittsburgh Chapter four the last four years

Marc J. Reiter is frequent contact with officers of USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services), ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), CBP (Customs and Border Protection), and EOIR (Executive Office of Immigration Review), and has a good working relationship with these agencies.

Marc J. Reiter has lived and worked in foreign countries, including England and Israel, and therefore has a unique understanding and appreciation of the goals and concerns of foreign nationals coming to the United States to live and work. He received his Undergraduate Degree (Cum Laude) and Law Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and has completed course work in legal studies at Tel Aviv University. He speaks English and Hebrew.

He has represented individuals and families in personal injury cases including wrongful death cases against a variety of defendants including businesses, individuals, insurance companies, nursing homes, hospitals, doctors, and airlines

He has successfully handled motor vehicle cases, pedestrian cases, motorcycle cases, bicycle cases, slip and fall cases, negligent security cases, personal care/nursing home cases, and product liability cases. He has represented individuals with injuries ranging from soft tissue injuries to brain damage and death.

He has obtained several verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients including a verdict in excess of $215,000 and six figure settlements.

Prior to opening his own office, Marc J. Reiter worked several years for a prominent Personal Injury law firm which concentrates in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Workers Compensation. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association).
